No tests are a 100 per cent accurate and research on antigen tests by Cochrane, an international network that produces information on health decisions with members and supporters in 130 countries, found that “In people with confirmed COVID-19, antigen tests correctly identified COVID-19 infection in an average of 72% of people with symptoms, compared to 58% of people without symptoms. Last year British officials ordered two million home test kits for the pandemic from two Chinese companies at $20 million dollars, however it turned out that the kits did not actually work and are now sitting and gathering dust.
